Piping Engineer

We are currently seeking a Piping Engineer to work in our office in The Woodlands.

Job Overview:

Responsibilities included but limited to performing pipe stress calculations using Caesar II or similar software, developing pipe specifications, design piping supports, data sheets of equipment, preparing RFQ, technical bid assessment, generate technical clarification by interacting with vendors and suppliers on equipment/valves/fittings to get the most optimum design according to project specifications, codes and industry standards. Analyze technical issues and come up with cost effective design solutions to solve them.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

·       Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with 5+ years of experience in piping design with an Engineering, Procurement and Construction company.

·       Ability/motivated to get professional engineer’s license in State of Texas or others.

·       Applicable Standards/Codes e.g., B31.3, B31.1, B16.5, ASME Sec I & VIII, Div 1 & 2

·       Caesar II or equivalent pipe stress calculation tools

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·       Ability to work under pressure to deliver on schedule with quality

·       Eager to learn all available design tools and calculators to be able to help all engineering areas as needed

·       Team player, professional and respectful with all coworkers

·       Excellent problem solving skills.
